What Would You Do?

Jacob is babysitting three children from the Miller family. Kelly is five, Tyler is three and Jessica is two. Tyler is riding his three wheeler when he falls off and slices open his leg. Jacob immediately takes Tyler and the other two children into the house and tries to wash out the cut on the leg. After applying direct pressure to the wound, Jacob cannot stop the bleeding and decides that he needs some help. What should Jacob do now?

1. Jacob should run next door to a neighbor to ask for help.


2. Jacob should call the parents and wait for them to return home.


3. Jacob should call 911 and ask for help. After he calls 911, he should try to locate the parents as soon as possible and inform them of the injury and his request for help.
