Excellent silver-gray foliage that has a musty odor. Grows best in full sun in very well drained soil. Plant grows to about 18 inches and is used as a specimen plant or can be trimmed to a compact temporary hedge. Santolina may be winter hardy with protection or can be overwintered indoors as a houseplant.
