Tall, coarse textured burgundy foliage with 14" cattail like flower plumes. Easily grown from seed. 
Full sun in moist well drained soil. Drought tolerant. 

'Purple Majesty' 4-5' dark burgundy foliage, heavy flower production

'Jester' 3' leaves are shades of burgundy, green and chaartruese. Dark flower spikes

'Purple Baron' 3 foot compact variety with good basal branching.
