Mounded plants with attractive heart shaped deeply lobed foliage often with brightly colored accents. Short flower spikes densely covered with flowers.  
Prefer high organic, moist soils in a shaded location

Plants need high organic mater soils in a shaded location in order to develop the best. Dry soils limit their spread. They have the capability to spread by stolons and can soon form large masses.
