Many people get stressed about living with diabetes. They may have to eat at certain times, limit how much they eat, or limit what foods they choose. They may have to take medication or test their blood glucose.
People at risk of diabetes are often overweight. Being overweight and trying to lose weigh can both be stressful. It is often hard and frustrating.
Think back to the ways of reducing stress that were mentioned in this module. Stress is part of everyone’s life. Learning to manage stress can be tricky. Sometimes it is easier to manage stress than other times. There is a listing of websites that might be helpful.
