My Older Friends
- Identifying older friends and family members
- Communicating with others; relating to others
What To Do
List five people you know who are at least 65 years old. Include their names, their ages, and what they like to do. If you do not know the answers to some of the questions, visit or call your older friends and ask them!
This activity will help you prepare for another activity in this section in which you interview an older friend or family member. One of the friends you list in this activity is a candidate for the upcoming interview.
Do your friends have things in common? Are they also different in some ways? Explain.
What did you learn about your older friends through this activity?
