4-H Federation membership is open to any 4-H member in the eighth grade and over. Those age 12 and over are welcome to attend meetings and participate in events. You’ll meet new friends and get involved in countywide leadership activities.

The first 4-H Federation meeting of the new year will be on Sunday, September 29, at 2 p.m., at the Extension Office in Lewistown.

Federation meetings include a short business meeting, sometimes a game or activity, and time to snack and get to know 4-H members from other towns. They host the YMCA Night in January, send things to the troops, and come up with other activities to sponsor. In the summer 4-H Federation members are asked to help with Farm Safety Day Camp, 4-H foodstand cleaning, setting up 4-H General Show, and more. Even when it’s work, we still have fun! We also go on an outing in August, to thank the ones who actively participate.
