Planning your Garden for Seed Saving

This year, instead of deciding in the fall that you want to save seeds for planting, plan your garden around it! Join Illinois Extension, Horticulture Educator, Gemini Bhalsod in a webinar to learn important concepts and techniques for seed saving such as open pollination and variety isolation to get the best quality seeds for your garden! We will also discuss harvesting and seed storage.

This program will be offered via a live webinar on Tuesday, January 14th at 1:30 p.m. at the following University of Illinois Extension Offices: Bureau County in Princeton (815-875-2878); Marshall-Putnam Counties in Henry (309-364-2356); and LaSalle County in Ottawa (815-433-0707). Please call at least two days in advance to register. This webinar may also be viewed from wherever you have internet access by pre-registering at go.illinois.edu/fourseasons at least one week before the course date.
