University of Illinois Extension will provide research-based information to be your “Gateway to Gut Health" on March 10 in Yorkville. Participants will learn about the roles of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, the human gut microbiome and its role in both health and disease, common GI diseases, and ways to prevent or manage them.

In cooperation with the Association for Home and Community Education (HCE), this free program will be led by Extension Educator Laura Barr Walker from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 at the Kendall County Extension office, 7775B IL Route 47, Yorkville. 

Registration is required by Friday, March 7 to prepare materials. Space may be limited.
