Did you know that Illinois has over 150 species of butterflies? Join University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator, Kelly Allsup, as she details how to distinguish between some of the most commonly sighted butterflies in flower gardens and prairies. We will begin with a short lecture then the butterfly walk to follow.

The Butterfly Walk will be held on June 2, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Shannon Bayou, 3301 Waldron Road, Aroma Park, Illinois. Please dress for walking and the weather. 

There is no fee for this walk. However, pre-registration is required by May 27, 2020  by calling University of Illinois Extension, Kankakee County at 815-933-8337.
