Establishing a healthy ecosystem for caterpillars is vital to supporting local populations of butterflies and moths. Learn the types of caterpillars you have in your garden and what butterflies they become in a free online webinar at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 23.

Erin Garrett, University of Illinois Extension energy and environmental stewardship educator, will discuss the caterpillar life stage, why and how to support caterpillars, and how to identify more than 40 species! Caterpillars of our more desirable moths and butterflies are included in this presentation, as opposed to common pest species.
