The eighth annual Conservation Cropping Seminars will return January 2021 in a new, free virtual format. Researchers, experts, and Illinois farmers will offer helpful information, new research and data, farmer testimonials, and more on soil health in online sessions.

Learn how to improve soil health, apply cover crops, remain profitable and even more marketable by using sustainable techniques that build up natural resilience to weather extremes, pests and weeds. The seminar will also include question and answer sessions. Certified Crop Advisor CCUs are available.

The speaker lineup includes representatives from the Soil Science Society of America, Western Illinois University, University of Minnesota, the Illinois Saving Tomorrow’s Agriculture Resources program, Illinois Natural Resources Conservation Service and Illinois farmers.

More information is available on the Champaign County Soil and Water Conservation District website at www.ccswcd.com.

Dates: January 20, 28 and February 4.
