Join 4-H for a fun summer project to get your kids excited about gardening!

About the program:

The Little Roots Gardening Program will guide you through growing six different plants, seed to harvest. Designed for ages 5 to 7, youth will engage in weekly activities like:

  • Observing the world around them
  • Researching basic horticulture terms
  • Caring for their plants.

What you'll need:

  • A 4x6-foot planting area and/or garden planters/containers and access to water
    • A limited number of spots will be available at our DuPage County plots in Wheaton
  • Little Roots Gardening Calendar (provided)
  • Little Roots Seed Packets (provided)
  • Other garden tools may include: gloves, trowel, and watering can

$20 program fee due at enrollment. (No additional cost for current Cloverbud members who have a completed, paid 2020-21 enrollment).
