Join 4-H for a fun summer project to get your kids excited about gardening!
About the program:
The Little Roots Gardening Program will guide you through growing six different plants, seed to harvest. Designed for ages 5 to 7, youth will engage in weekly activities like:
- Observing the world around them
- Researching basic horticulture terms
- Caring for their plants.
What you'll need:
- A 4x6-foot planting area and/or garden planters/containers and access to water
- A limited number of spots will be available at our DuPage County plots in Wheaton
- Little Roots Gardening Calendar (provided)
- Little Roots Seed Packets (provided)
- Other garden tools may include: gloves, trowel, and watering can
$20 program fee due at enrollment. (No additional cost for current Cloverbud members who have a completed, paid 2020-21 enrollment).
