Fall bulbs, organic farming and local favorite plants will be the topics at the Sept. 25 Color of Autumn workshop presented by University of Illinois Extension.
Local U of I Extension Horticulture Educator, Elizabeth Wahle will be showcasing some of her favorite plants and what grows well locally.
Secondly, Forcing Bulbs in the Fall will be presented by U of I Extension Master Gardener and Maser Naturalist Lisa Dean and Ann Glosecki.
For the final session guests will attend Introduction to Organic/No Till Gardening by Keith Jones from Feather’s Farm.
The event will be held at the Monroe County Annex Building, 901 Illinois Avenue, Waterloo. Registration and refreshments begin at 8:30 am, with the program beginning at 9:00 am.
