Explore the Universe with University of Illinois Extension. This new SPIN Club will meet weekly on Wednesdays from Oct. 6 - Nov. 17 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the U of I Extension office, 1606 Eastport Plaza Drive, Suite 100, Collinsville.

Registration Deadline is Sept. 30. Space is limited to 15 cadets! Cost is $30/person.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Make a simple refracting telescope
• Create and use a Caesar cipher wheel
• Play "Astro Adventure" to sustain and further space exploration
• Use the Engineering Design Process to design, build, and operate a robotic arm and claw
• Explore the sky with the Riverbend Astronomy Club
• Learn from the SIUE physics department
• Leave with your own model rocket to build and a 4-H aerospace book.
