Open to all 4-Hers and 4-H volunteers (highly recommended) in Clark, Crawford, and Edgar counties.
This non-healthcare provider course teaches basic CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), which is used in cases of life-threatening cardiac events.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion following the class, which is free. If you want an official CPR/AED certification card from the American Heart Association, the fee is $25.
For those 13 and younger attending – no certification will be given/obtained, but it would be a great course for those interested in showing projects in Health.
Please register online by Friday, February 11. The class will last approximately 6 hours. We will take a 30-minute break for lunch. You can bring your own or grab take-out.
