Public Speaking Contest

1. Participating Youth must be 8 years of age on or before September 1, 2021.
2. Participating youth turning 14 years of age on or before April 30, 2022 must enroll as advanced.
3. Time limit added (2-4 minutes for Beginner)
4. Beginner level added
5. Resources to help prepare for this contest in shop 4-H: Finding your Voice: Public Speaking Made Easy (Public Speaking)
6. Formal Speech & Illustrated Speech category will be broken down into the following classes by age: Beginner: 8-13 years of age, Advanced: 14 years of and up

All program participants and staff will be required to practice social distancing measures, including wearing a face covering regardless of vaccination status.
