This is an all-summer, self-paced 4-H event involving all 4-H families in our five-county unit: Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Moultrie, and Shelby counties. There is a list of tourist destinations in these counties for members to visit throughout the summer. There is so much that happens in the summer in our area that we should celebrate! Members would need to visit at least 25 places to receive the top tier prize level. Once per month (June, July, and August), there will be a workshop held at one of these locations. This would allow the members to attend a multi-county event while also working towards visiting 25 places and all 5 counties. There are prize levels for each member who completes the different levels of visits as well as those who visit the different counties. The awards will be given at the end of the summer. 4-H families will keep track of places visited by submitting pictures of the different locations.
