A Master Naturalist appreciates, understands and respects the natural world, and in so doing, nourishes a sense of belonging with the rest of nature. Join the Master Naturalist hybrid class this summer for an introduction day on June 4 (9 a.m. to noon) about the Master Naturalist program and all the topics we will be covering.

We would like to invite your family to join us to learn about the program and the new youth workshops (ages 7-12) that will be led by 4-H staff during the trainings. Youth are welcomed to attend with a participating adult.

This will be a great way to learn about nature as a family. We will have an introductory session on June 4 then hands-on lessons/workshops will begin June 16 at 6 p.m. at Carlyle Visitors Center for only $25 per family per session and continue every Thursday through August 11. Included will be optional field trip days on Saturdays during the training (Cost TBD based on number attending).

Teachers have the opportunity to earn Continuing Professional Development Units thru Regional Office of Education. Ask about this opportunity on June 4. Register today for this hybrid training with online components, hands-on workshops and guided field events.
