The University of Illinois Extension is excited to offer in person programming again. Join U of I Extension Local Foods and Small Farms Educator, Grant McCarty,as he discusses Insects and Diseases for the Summer Vegetable Garden on Wednesday, August 10 from 6 - 7:00 p.m.

With harvest happening or on the horizon, you might be encountering insects and diseases that can effect your yields and overall gardening experience. In this class, we’ll look at some of the most common insects and diseases during the growing season with advice on how to ID them, treat them, and prepare for next season.

There is no cost to attend, but donations are welcomed.  These sessions will be held at the U of I Extension office in Winnebago County, 1040 N. Second Street, Rockford (directly south of Nicholas Conservatory).
