Preregistration was required to attend this event.

In Illinois, a Certified Food Protection Manager must be on-site any time food is being prepared and served.

University of Illinois Extension in Macon County is offering the Certified Protection Manager course and exam, which covers the minimum classroom work to prepare for the national certification exam.

The class covers the current FDA Food Code, including safe food preparation, cooking and handling, facility safety and maintenance, employee health and hygiene, and cleaning and sanitization.

$100 for the general public
K-12 Nutrition Professionals may attend for free courtesy of ABCs of School Nutrition

Course fee includes materials and exam.

Registration deadline is October 11!

A photo ID is required for the exam on November 4.
Participants must attend both sessions.
