During this hands-on program, teens 12- 18 are invited to learn how to make 3 healthy snacks from items in their cupboards. Participation in this program is a great way to get your teen in the kitchen and learn to make something nutritious for themselves and their younger siblings.
“By training our youth to be involved in making their snacks, we can help them learn basic kitchen skills that will follow them through life. Along with these learned skills, youth will be learning healthy eating habits and how to provide snacks on a limited budget,” says Kelly Lafferty, 4-H Youth Development Educator.
