Betsy serves as the 4-H and Youth Development Program Coordinator for Adams County and broadens skills of young people to prepare them for today and tomorrows dreams. She has the pleasure of working with inspiring youth, families, and impactful volunteers in the 4-H program. Betsy has a passion for working with youth and loves seeing all the good they continue to do in their club, their community, their country, and their world. 

Betsy received her Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Youth Development from Western Illinois University. She received her Master's Degree of Science in Agriculture Leadership Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a certified facilitator of the Real Colors program by the National Curriculum and Training Institute. 

Betsy coordinate organized community and special interest clubs in Adams County. She coordinates the following  opportunities: 

  • Leadership Development 
  • Career Readiness
  • Social Emotional Learning 
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Programs
