Liz Repplinger is an Extension Program Coordinator for Agriculture and Natural Resources. Liz is responsible for the execution of the Master Gardener and Master Naturalist programs. Liz works with University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educators to deliver volunteer training founded in research-based education ensuring volunteer-led programs extend University of Illinois knowledge to the community.

Liz earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and a Master of Science Degree in Animal Nutrition from Illinois State University in Normal, IL.

Liz explored the world of agriculture through various outlets. As Food Forest Manager at PrairiErth Farm, Liz investigated alternative food producing systems. In her work at Peoria Zoo, Liz managed data of an AZA accredited collection. As a lecturer for Illinois State University Department of Agriculture, Liz challenged students to alternative perspectives of agriculture and food production. Liz’s introduction to University of Illinois Extension arrived as Garden Assistant for a production garden at Unity Community Center.

Liz joined University of Illinois Extension in 2015 as a 4-H Youth Development program coordinator for Unity Community Center. In 2020, she transitioned to Agriculture and Natural Resources.
