
Nicole Nelson serves as the 4-H program coordinator in Knox County working with clubs, members, and volunteers to create the best experience for all. Nicole joined University of Illinois Extension in 2018. In her role as 4-H program coordinator, she is responsible for implementing 4-H programs designed to promote personal and professional development in 4-H members and youth in the surrounding community.
Nicole graduated from University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's of animal science and a minor in leadership studies. She continued her journey at University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign with a master's degree in agricultural education with an emphasis on youth leadership. Nicole was a member of 4-H in Knox County for 11 years.
