More than 3,000 copies of the original curriculum were sold nationwide.

In the spring of 2013, the University of Illinois Extension consumer economics educators looked to revise AMM. They sent out a needs assessment to learn how low-income people manage their finances today, how agencies serve and communicate with their low-income clients, and what those agencies look for in a financial management curriculum and training for staff.
