Who Am I with Money?

We all want to worry less about money and simply enjoy the people, places, and things that matter most to us. No matter what your financial situation looks like today, the first step to less financial stress and better money management is to get more comfortable talking about money. Who Am I With Money: Lesson 1 walks participants through easy exercises to help them identify their financial needs and wants, become more aware of spending habits, and begin to develop a strategy to accommodate and overcome financial challenges.

Participants Will:

  • Identify needs versus wants when making spending choices.
  • Strategize ways to adjust spending to accommodate financial challenges.
  • Analyze their buyer “type” and how this affects their spending habits.
  • Understand how they are managing their money.
  • Become aware of their spending choices to help facilitate change.

  • Spending Choices game cards, one set for each group of 3 to 5 participants.*
  • Take Charge Card, one per participant.*
  • 20 beans for each small group of 3 to 5 participants.
  • Sandwich bags, one for each set of 20 beans.
