The Illinois 4-H Livestock Judging Contest for beef, sheep, swine, and meat goats will take place on Monday, April 27, at the Stock Pavilion (1402 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Urbana, IL). Please note the date change from previous years!
📅 Schedule:
🔹 8:00 AM – Registration opens
🔹 8:45 AM – Check-in deadline (all participants must be present)
🔹 9:00 AM – Contest begins (New Start Time)
Fee: $15 per senior participant (covers lunch) Juniors will also participate, but end before lunchtime so the fee only applies to senior participants.
Eligibility: Contestants must be 4-H club members enrolled in ZSuite before coaches can register them. Coaches must register and pay online for all senior participants.
Important Update: Scantron scoring will replace traditional judging cards this year.
If members need a letter for an excused absence from school, please contact your local Extension Office. If you need reasonable accommodation to attend, please contact the State 4-H Office.
