Illinois 4-H State Ambassador Teams give youth ages 13–19 the opportunity to take their 4-H experience to the next level. Ambassadors develop leadership skills, build connections with youth from across the state, help plan and lead 4-H programs and events, and represent Illinois 4-H in exciting ways.
During Info Night, youth will:
- Learn about the different State Ambassador Teams and opportunities available.
- Hear directly from current ambassadors about their experiences.
- Learn about expectations, time commitments, and the application process.
Ready to apply?
Youth do not need to attend Info Night or wait until December 7 to begin their application. Current team members do not need to reapply unless they want to change teams. Youth interested in serving on a 2027 Illinois 4-H State Ambassador Team will complete one statewide application and indicate their team interests and preferences. Applications are due December 31, 2026.
