Community Service, Service Learning and National 4-H Day of Service Volunteer Training
A core part of Illinois 4-H focuses on helping youth become responsible citizens while leading healthy and productive lives. When 4-H members engage in community service they learn valuable lessons and make a positive difference in their communities as they support and help others.
During this training, volunteers and teens serving in leadership roles will learn key steps to planning and implementing community service and service learning projects. They will be provided with access to tools and resources to support their service outreach.
We will also share information about the National 4-H Day of Service and provide an overview of how to register and report on service outreach. Service outreach aligned with the National 4-H Day of Service can be a project of an individual 4-H member; a club; a 4-H partnership experience; or a 4-H club.
Registration for the Making a Difference and Changing Lives: Community Service, Service Learning and National 4-H Day of Service Volunteer and Teens in Leadership Roles Training is set up through ZSuites!
