Illinois Extension provides ongoing DEIA training and opportunities internally and to external groups. In addition to required training through the university, college, and program areas, Extension offers professional development for staff through several methods.

Opportunities to Learn

Annual Civil Rights Compliance Course

A training course that all staff members complete once per year. It covers federal civil rights laws and the university’s non-discrimination policies and procedures. This training also outlines the compliance review process as well as information about Civil Rights planning and reporting.
