4-H Project Day - February 29 - Extension Office

This event is brought to you by Community Cloverleaves, Keepers of the Clover, Federation and many more 4-H volunteers! 

What will SPARK your interest?! Join us for 4-H Project Day to learn some new skills or tips within your project area or try something new! There will be both structured classes and unstructured "free choice" activities available to choose from! 

ALL 4-H youth ages 8-18 as of Sept 1, 2019 are welcome to participate in 4-H Project Day on February 29, 2020 at the Extension office at 1102 McConnell Rd, Woodstock.

• In the event there open session by Feb 20, friends of 4-H members may be invited to participate. Please call Extension office for permission forms.
• Sorry no cloverbuds this time. We hope to offer Cloverbud days soon!

*Note there will still be a small $5.00 participation fee to secure your spot and to help with some of the extra costs for supplies and snacks

• Spots are not secure until fee is paid online by credit card or check/cash has been received by the office
• This fee will be non-refundable after Feb 23 unless event is cancelled due to low enrollment
• If you can not afford this fee, please contact the Extension office for a waiver

Early Session - 8:30-9:50 - check-in begins as 8:15am

YQCA Junior Level Training for ages 8-11

• ADDITIONAL Pre-registration and payment via the website: http://yqca.org is required.
• Use the 4HOnline registration option and your 4HOnline family login.
• For 4-H members enrolled in dairy cattle, beef cattle, swine, sheep, and goats

Session 1 - 9:00 - 9:50 a.m.

• Healthy Snacks
• Stitching
• Quiliing
• Free choice activities: including tie-blankets for donation,various recycled crafts, T-shirt bag (bring your own t-shirt), decorate a flower pot, robotic activities, and more!

Session 2 -10:00 a.m. - 10:45 p.m.

• Candy making
• Cupcake decorating
• Grid Method Drawing
• Hands Only CPR (2 - 30 min. sessions)
• Free choice activities:  including tie-blankets for donation,various recycled crafts, T-shirt bag (bring your own t-shirt), decorate a flower pot, robotic activities, and more!

Session 3 -11:00 a.m. - 11:45 p.m.

• Healthy Snacks
• Beginning Cake Decorating
• STEM activities
• Jewelry Making
• Free choice activities:  including tie-blankets for donation,various recycled crafts, T-shirt bag (bring your own t-shirt), decorate a flower pot, robotic activities, and more!
