Want to attend Everything Local for free?
Illinois Extension is excited to announce the opportunity for IL-EATS lead agencies and farmers to attend the 2025 Everything Local Conference for free. The Everything Local Conference is on January 29-31, 2025 at the Bank of Springfield Center in downtown Springfield, Illinois. Up to two individuals per organization can attend at no cost (a $225 value per person). Each person must register separately. What is Everything Local?
The Everything Local Conference is the largest local food conference in Illinois. It brings together Illinois growers, producers, and food system players from across the state. The three-day conference features keynote speakers, 100+ educational sessions, a tradeshow with 65+ exhibitors, and conference meals crafted with Illinois-grown foods. Attendees have the opportunity to network and attend workshops on topics like specialty crop production, business development, funding and financing, and more.

IL-EATS Networking Dinner - Tuesday, January 28 from 5:30-7:30 PM
You're invited! Illinois Extension is hosting an IL-EATS Networking Dinner the evening before the conference to celebrate and bring together IL-EATS farmers, lead agencies, and food system organizations from across the state who have worked hard to bring nourishing foods to underserved communities. A complimentary dinner featuring local foods will be provided to all attendees.
FSMA Produce Safety Alliance Training - Tuesday, January 28 from 8:00-5:00 PM
Ready to take your food safety knowledge to the next level? Register for Everything Local to sign up for the FREE Produce Safety Alliance training offered the day before the conference. You must be present during all course modules to receive the PSA/AFDO Certificate of Course Completion. The all-day course will cover the foundation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirements, and how to develop a farm food safety plan.
