Last year, our Master Naturalist developed educational signage for the local park near the pond and walking trails. Area youth lack access to classes on natural resources and the environment; thus, the Master Naturalist, Horticulture Educator, and 4-H program coordinator have developed a Jr. Master Naturalist program that will launch this fall at Patriots Park, where educational signage and walking trails have been established. We plan to incorporate these items into the park's educational activities.
