While the Master Naturalist program is administered at the state level, each host unit can tailor the program to meet the needs of their local communities. Timing of each training and selection of local projects are two of the ways each unit can really make the program unique to their area. 

These counties are currently not offering the program, but if you are interested, you can attend training in a nearby county or contact your county office to express your interest: Jersey, Macoupin, Montgomery, Christian, Fayette, Effingham, Clay, Wayne, Edwards, Richland, Jasper, Edgar, Clark, Crawford, Lawrence, and Wabash.
