Judy Hodge is the Extension Program Coordinator for Illinois Extension Master Naturalist and Master Gardener programs in Boone County. She works with volunteers, educators, and the community to facilitate educational programs in Boone County.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Concordia University. Before joining Extension, Judy spent 14 years as an elementary teacher in private and public schools.

Hodge received the Illinois Extension Inclusive Excellence Award for her work with the Master Gardeners and the Belvidere Park District, Northlands Association for Special Recreation (NASR) program participants.

Hodge assisted with the creation of the county Farm Strolls, which began in Boone County in 2014. This event has been successful year after year and has since expanded to neighboring counties. A farm stroll is a self-guided tour of local family farms, where individuals can explore, meet farmers, and learn about the farming process.
