She has a B.S in Biology, Psychology, and Education from Eureka College and has served professionally as a Developmental Therapist in Early Intervention as well as a science teacher at Hall High School. She and her children were very involved in 4-H, as participants, a club leader, superintendent and judge from time to time. She was also involved in Bible School and Conservation Gardening at both Depue and Hall High Schools.

Bettyann has a deep appreciation for the natural world and enjoys spending time in nature. Gardening and nature have always been a passion, and she is driven to understand the interactions and balance of the living things around us. Serving in this roles allows her to partner with others who share common interests and continue to learn more each day.
