From a young age, Jamie Viebach has had a passion for helping the environment. Today, Jamie loves helping people and plants thrive. As horticulture educator, Jamie enjoys sharing research-backed horticultural advice to improve the community and protect the environment. She approaches gardening questions like detective shows (which she enjoys), searching for clues to identify the suspect and solve plant crimes.
Jamie earned a master’s degree from Governors State University in Environmental Biology, and her extensive background includes educating people of all ages on the benefits of native plants in the landscape. When she’s not out tending to her pollinator and rain gardens, Jamie also enjoys baking for her family and friends, crocheting, and coffee.
