Art-Lit To Go! (grades K-3)
Art-Lit to Go! is an innovative program that supports the development of art and literacy skills for K-3 children. This informal education program utilizes a range of process-focused and product-focused art experiences to teach children a basic understanding of the foundational art elements of line, shape, color, form, and texture through integrated art-literacy activities. In addition, this exciting research-based program is designed to support the National Core Arts Standards and the Common Core English Language Arts Standards. (Available as an in-person program | Six lessons, each lasting approximately 45-60 minutes, can be modified as needed to accommodate scheduling needs.)
Get Up and Dance! (grades K-5)
Looking for a fun, approachable way to incorporate movement into daily life? Get Up and Dance! Basic dance skills are presented through games and activities that help facilitate an increase in physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and decrease potential injury. The groundwork for healthy habits and exploration of multiple dance styles take place over multiple sessions.
Get Up and Dance! is designed as a series of learning activities that culminate into a performance experience in which youth collaborate to develop a short dance routine. Adaptations to this program can be made based on time availability.
Public Speaking (grades 4-12)
Learning how to communicate orally is a skill that requires practice! Our public speaking workshops focus on speaking with confidence, making eye contact, controlling your rate, and verbal expression. Your students will learn some great techniques and tips they can use when giving a presentation, speech, or interview! (Available as an in-person program | 30-60 min. lesson)
Theatre Arts (grades K-2, 3-5, or 6-8)
Explore creativity in the classroom or after school. Theatre workshops can be customized to fit your needs and provide a great introduction to the world of acting and theatre. Through fun games and activities, youth will have an opportunity to tap into their imagination, become a character, and grow confidence. (Available as an in-person program | 30-60 min. lesson)
