Master Naturalists have been busy helping the Oswegoland Park District and Friends of Illinois Nature Preserves restore a local hidden gem. Yorkville Prairie, located adjacent to Saw Wee Kee Park, is a wet-mesic prairie filled with plants adapted to wet conditions. Alyssa Theodor and her mother, Mary Theodor, both members of the 2022 class of Master Naturalists, have been dedicated volunteers at the site.
