2020 Virtual Illinois Farm Economics Summit (IFES) to be held in December

The 2020 Virtual Illinois Farm Economics Summit (IFES), organized by the University of Illinois Extension and the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics will be held in December. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the event will be virtual rather than in-person.

IFES is specifically designed for farm operators, lenders, land owners, and other agribusiness professionals. 

IFES will consist of 5 webinars each covering an individual topic on December 1, 4, 8, 11, and 15.  Each webinar will be from 11:00 a.m. to noon CST.  The webinar will be 30 minutes of presentation and 30 minutes of Q&A.

Tuesday, December 1 - 2021 Market Outlook for Corn and Soybeans 

Friday, December 4 - 2020 and 2021 Grain Farm Income Outlook with Risk and Rental Implications 

Tuesday, December 8 - Farm Program and Crop Insurance Decisions for 2021 

Friday, December 11 - Straining the Alphabet Soup: Post-election farm policy outlook after three years of ad hoc farm payments 

Tuesday, December 15 - Farmland Markets and Macro Markets
