Bureau County 4-H’s Seasonal STEAM kit program is expanding to serve the Walnut community. This partnership allows youth ages 8 – 18 to receive monthly activities focused on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math. Innovation Grant Funds are making it possible to offer these kits to area communities at no cost.
Kits may be picked up at the Walnut Public Library during their hours of operation by calling (815) 379-2159.
“We are grateful for Innovation Grant Funding to serve a need for our communities during the changing COVID-19 guidelines,” shared Danielle Gapinski, Bureau County 4-H and Youth Development Program Coordinator. “It is exciting to find new ways to reach our county’s youth.”
Participants are encouraged to share photos and results of their participation on Bureau County 4-H’s Facebook page.
