4-H Senior Spotlight: Erin Leschewski of the Bailey Creek Kids in LaSalle County honored

The University of Illinois Extension Bureau, LaSalle and Marshall-Putnam 4-H honor the seniors of 2020.  This week we highlight Erin Leschewski.

Erin Leschewski is a 4-H member of Bailey Creek Kids in LaSalle County.

Her favorite project while in 4-H as been Interior Design.    

Erin stated, “I learned many things in 4H including how to give a presentation and how to plan a long term project”.

When asked her favorite memory Erin said, “My favorite memory is showing my refinished trunk for interior design. It was my project 2 years ago and I worked really hard on it. I showed at both the county and state fair”.

Erin’s advice to younger 4-H’er is, “Enroll in projects you wouldn't normally think to try. You never know what you'll end up having a talent for”.

She plans to go to Western Illinois University and major in social work.       

Erin would like to thank Tom and Tricia Haynes, her club leaders. “They work hard and keep our club active”.
