In an effort to help keep those in need warm throughout the winter season, Bureau County 4-H Federation is hosting their annual “Hands to Larger Service” winter accessory donation drive. Visit University of Illinois Extension at 850 Thompson St., Princeton and trim the tree with new winter accessories.
“Since the inception of our drive we have been able to distribute over 600 winter accessories throughout Bureau County,” shared Bureau County 4-H and Youth Development Program Coordinator, Danielle Gapinski.
Donations received will be distributed to area food pantries and shelters. Hats, gloves/mittens, and scarves will be accepted during business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – Noon and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please have donations dropped off no later than Friday, December 17th.
