Four Seasons Gardening Program Offers Free Fall Series Webinars

The Fall series of the University of Illinois Extension’s Four Seasons Gardening Program, which focuses on environmental stewardship, home gardening, and backyard food production, got underway the month of September. The public is invited to participate in this free webinar series. The second session of the series titled “Creating a Bottle Terrarium” will run on October 13th at 1:30 p.m. Explore the enclosed world of bottle terrariums, self-contained plant environments within glass. Join Horticulture Educator Bruce Black as he explores terrariums, their needs, and how to create a bottle version of a terrarium.

The final topic in the Fall series is titled “History of Forest Pest Outbreaks in North America”, and is set for Tuesday, November 17th at 1:30 p.m.

Webinars are available for viewing from wherever you have internet access by pre-registering at go.illinois.edu/fourseasons. Recorded videos of these sessions can be viewed following the program at go.illinois.edu/fourseasonsrecordings. Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all local county offices are currently unable to offer viewing options at those locations.
