Four Seasons Gardening Program Offers Free Winter Series Webinars

The winter series of the University of Illinois Extension’s Four Seasons Gardening Program, which focuses on environmental stewardship, home gardening, and backyard food production, got underway the month of January. The public is invited to participate in this free webinar series. The second session of the series titled “The Therapeutic Value of Nature” is set for Tuesday, February 16th at 1:30 p.m. Are you stressed from having to practice social distancing? Can’t go anywhere or do anything? Spending time in nature can help soothe and heal. Join Extension Horticulture Educator Mary M. Fischer as she presents research-based studies to support the healing powers of nature.

The final session in the winter Four Seasons series, “Adaptive Gardening”, is set for Tuesday, March 9th at 1:30 p.m.
