On Tuesday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m., the LaSalle Public Library will be virtually hosting University of Illinois Extension Program Coordinator and Master Gardener Volunteer Meg Overocker as she delivers a program titled “Preparing the Garden for the Winter”. It’s getting colder, so what should you be doing now in the garden? There are some steps you can take to get your garden ready for winter, and to get a jumpstart for Spring! In this informational program, Meg will walk you through the steps you can take to prep your garden for the winter months. Topics covered will include cleanup, landscaping, and preparing your plants. At the end of the program, Meg will answer audience questions via live chat.
This program is free, open to the public, and will be presented in an easy-to-use virtual format.
