Magnolia Public Library to Host University of Illinois Extension Live Virtual Presentation of “Backyard Birds”

Please join us on Tuesday, October 13th at 5:30 p.m. for a virtual presentation titled “Backyard Birds” hosted by the Magnolia Public Library and presented by University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist Volunteer and Starved Rock State Park Natural Resources Coordinator Lisa Sons. Discover the various species of birds that you can attract to your backyard this fall and winter.  Learn about several species size, color, and call, to what food they prefer at your feeders.  After this program you will be able to identify common backyard birds and how to help those feathered friends through the winter months.  At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to ask questions via live-chat.

This program is free, open to the public, and will be presented in an easy-to-use virtual format. Interested individuals can email Peggy Smith of the Putnam County Libraries at psmith@putnamcountylibrary.org for information, or you may visit their web page  to access the Zoom link. You may also contact Meg E.
