University of Illinois Extension invites registered LaSalle County 4-H members, aged 8 to 18, in their first or second year of 4-H to participate in the upcoming New Member Project Night. This event will take place at the University of Illinois Extension Education Center and Community Teaching Kitchen at 944 First Street in LaSalle on April 21st from 6 to 7:30 pm.
Members will make a geometric canvas craft that is eligible to exhibit at the fair and participate in a mock project judging so they can be confident showing in their first (or second) LaSalle County 4-H fair! This event is free, but pre-registration at https://go.illinois.edu/lcnewmember is required to ensure we have enough supplies. Parents or project helpers are encouraged to attend, masks are optional and guidelines in place at the time of the program will be followed. Space is limited, so register soon to reserve your spot!
