University of Illinois Extension invites you to the “2020 Ag Management Night” on March 4. The seminar will be held at 7:00 p.m. on the IVCC campus in Room CTC 124. Advance registration is required by March 3 by calling 815-875-2878 or by registering online at https://go.illinois.edu/2020agmgmt

There is a $10 registration fee that can be paid that evening or in advance by online registration.

Dr. Gary Schnitkey, University of Illinois Extension Specialist in Farm Management, and Jonathan Coppess, University of Illinois Director of the Gardner Agriculture Policy Program/Department of Agriculture & Consumer Economics, will present unbiased information about farm leasing and the economic outlook. Learn about ag leases, trends and marketing opportunities including: crop-share, cash rent and flexible leases; farm economic outlook and cost centers; price projections and returns to land; and farmland prices. Mr. Coppess will cover the update on the Farm Bill and program revisions, crop insurance options that reflect 2020 pricing and risks, and current conservation programs that can benefit the bottom line for the producer.
